Weather challenge
An overheard snippet of conversation, earlier, contained the intriguing line "...and I was once propositioned by Michael Fish."
Which leads me to today's challenge: your best guesses for chat-up-lines used by weather forecasters, or relating to weather.
A few to get you started:
-- "I predict hot and steamy conditions in a localised area"
-- "I hear there's been some flooding down south"
In the comments, please...
Comments
My humble contributions (not quite chat-up lines, but apt I hope):
-- "...high pressure sweeping upwards for a time"
-- "...any lingering damp patches will clear by the morning"
-- "...underneath the warm front it will feel sticky"
-- "...the closeness of the bars indicates very changeable conditions"
-- "...sorry, that doesn't usually happen" (Michael Fish c. 1987)
